Finova is looking for a Head of Engineering who wants to lead a technology team on its journey to a fast paced, innovative and delivery focussed future. What will you be doing?
- Act as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, helping shape the strategic direction of the business and evolving the technical roadmap.
- Drive a customer‑first, delivery‑focused engineering culture that balances innovation with execution.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Commercial, Operations and wider business functions to drive alignment and high‑impact delivery.
- Provide strong mentorship and leadership to engineering teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Lead the evolution toward SaaS best practices across engineering functions.
About You
- Experienced full stack technologist able to drive pragmatic and deliverable solutions throughout all levels of the company.
- Demonstrated success in leading complex migrations from on‑prem to cloud environments.
- Expertise in managing both modern and legacy technology platforms; able to rationalise and modernise effectively.
- Knowledgeable about the use of AI in modern software delivery.
- Able to design and build enterprise class software that is secure, tested and instrumented.
- Understands and can implement software practices such as CI/CD, TDD and SRE.
- Commercial and client‑centric focus with strong understanding of B2B workflows and business process engineering.
- Experience in PE‑backed organisations, with a deep understanding of investor expectations, value creation, and delivery pace.
- Proven ability to manage the integration of engineering teams post‑acquisition.
