The Finance Team
We are a close-knit team who strive for the best in everything we do. We have grown considerably over the past couple of years as the business has grown so that we can provide a first-class service to our colleagues and external stakeholders. We work closely alongside the business to partner with them in achieving their successes. On a daily basis we collaborate with department heads, customers and suppliers as well as providing support to our 500+ colleagues.
About the Role: What will you be doing?
- Ownership of aspects of the monthly management reporting. This will include posting monthly journals, reconciling balance sheet accounts & producing a monthly pack to be reviewed by the FM/FC which contains variance analysis and commentary.
- Monitoring and analysing actual performance against budget and forecast, investigating and explaining variances.
- Assisting junior team members with purchases and billings processes.
- Review of cash position and preparing inputs into short-term cash forecasting.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis to support the business with decision making.
- Assist with regularly compliance reporting such as VAT returns, corporation tax returns and statutory accounts.
About You:
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
- Experience of Netsuite preferable.
- Audit background preferable and experience of a B2B SaaS business or businesses in the Tech & Media space would be advantageous.
- Working knowledge of all accounting processes.
- Collaborative, can do attitude and flexible approach.
- Effective communicator, clear written and verbal communication.
- Self-starter, intellectually curious and proactive.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Proficient in use of MS Excel and Outlook.
