About the Role: What will you be doing?
- Ownership of aspects of the monthly management reporting, including posting monthly journals, reconciling balance sheet accounts & producing a monthly pack to be reviewed by the FM/FC which contains variance analysis and commentary.
- Monitoring and analysing actual performance against budget and forecast, investigating and explaining variances.
- Assisting junior team members with purchases and billings processes.
- Review of cash position and preparing inputs into short-term cash forecasting.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis to support the business with decision making.
- Assist with regular compliance reporting such as VAT returns, corporation tax returns and statutory accounts.
About You:
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
- Experience of Netsuite preferable.
- Audit background preferable and experience of a B2B SaaS business or businesses in the Tech & Media space would be advantageous.
- Working knowledge of all accounting processes.
- Collaborative, can do attitude and flexible approach.
- Effective communicator, clear written and verbal communication.
- Self-starter, intellectually curious and proactive.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Proficient in use of MS Excel and Outlook.
