About the Role

As a Software Engineer at Finova, you will be a dedicated, hands‑on contributor responsible for building, testing, and maintaining features within our core enterprise software solutions. Working within a cross‑functional Agile team, you will take ownership of specific components and tasks under the guidance of senior engineers. This role is a fantastic opportunity to write clean, high‑impact code across a modern tech stack while expanding your technical expertise. You will play an active part in troubleshooting issues, expanding test coverage, and contributing to a culture of engineering excellence.

About You

• A Diligent Developer: You take a methodical approach to software engineering, ensuring that your work is robust, secure, and well‑documented.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands‑on experience developing features across a modern technology stack—including languages like C#, GoLang, or Python—within cloud‑hosted ecosystems (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Technically Curious: You are excited about expanding your skills across backend, frontend, cloud, and modern DevOps tools.
• A Collaborative Peer: You function effectively within cross‑functional teams, actively sharing knowledge, asking for help when needed, and supporting shared goals.

What You Will Be Doing

• Feature Development: Implementing new features and system components according to technical specifications and architectural guidance.
• Debugging & Triage: Troubleshooting and resolving software bugs with a methodical, root‑cause‑driven debugging approach.
• Upholding Code Quality: Maintaining high standards of code quality, writing thorough unit tests, and keeping system documentation up to date.
• Consuming & Building APIs: Implementing established microservices patterns and working closely with RESTful API designs.
• Supporting the Stack: Developing responsive user interfaces using modern frameworks while interacting with relational database backends.
• Utilizing CI/CD: Using modern deployment pipelines to ship code safely, reliably, and frequently into cloud‑hosted environments.
• Continuous Growth: Constantly expanding your knowledge of our technology stack and contributing to best practices around security, performance, and testing.
