We’re recruiting a Homewares Buyer to lead and grow an exciting home offer across textiles, décor, soft furnishings, lighting and furniture. This is a creative, hands-on role combining own-brand product development (textiles strongly preferred) with bought-in sourcing, building ranges that feel eclectic, colourful and story-led.
What you’ll do:
- Create and present commercially strong ranges
- Manage global suppliers, negotiate cost/MOQ/dates
- Own the critical path and place initial orders to forecast
- Keep product data, costing and setup 100% accurate
- Analyse performance and manage risk
- Work with Creative/Photography/Design plus Digital Trading, Web Merch and Marketing
- Support Direct Mail themes and present ranges to wholesale/marketplace partners
- Lead and develop a Buyers Assistant
What you’ll need:
- 3+ years buying experience (homewares, fashion or similar)
- Product development/manufacturer experience (textiles a bonus)
- Strong commercial and analytical skills
- Confident negotiator with global supplier experience
- Multi-channel retail experience (ecommerce desirable)
