Location: Watford (with occasional travel to London and other offices)
Salary: £32,000 £36,000 (DOE)

What You’ll Bring

  • AAT fully qualified, or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA
  • At least three years experience in financial accounting (experience in a chartered accountancy firm is beneficial)
  • Proficiency with SAGE 200, ERP systems and strong Excel skills (including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables)
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to communicate across teams

Key Responsibilities

  • Updating the cashbook and checking bank statements across multiple currencies
  • Processing and analysing purchase ledger invoices, including VAT checks and coding
  • Maintaining AP ledgers, reports and documentation, and managing approval workflows
  • Preparing weekly payment runs and cashflow reports
  • Uploading bank payments and allocating incoming and outgoing transactions
  • Managing recurring and monthly journals and maintaining the nominal ledger
  • Matching purchase invoices to POs and GRNs
  • Handling supplier queries and reconciling statements
  • Scanning, archiving and organising AP documentation in line with procedures
  • Assisting with VAT preparation
  • Processing staff credit card expenses
  • Assisting with customer credit notes
  • Uploading invoices and credit notes for German subsidiaries
  • Updating and maintaining the fixed asset register
  • Preparing intercompany invoices and debit notes
  • Supporting month-end reporting using STYLEman ERP (including Debtors and Stock reports)
  • Handling ad-hoc finance, reporting or operational tasks as required
