FINN Partners is on the hunt for an Account Executive to join our growing UK travel Representation practice. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate an understanding of sales and marketing with an ability to apply it to the travel industry. We are looking for a highly motivated and organised individual with an appetite to embrace the ins and outs of day‐to‐day account administration in a fast‐paced environment. The candidate will also gain exposure of working with an account manager to support on high‐profile marketing campaigns. You will need to have excellent writing skills and be capable of supporting the account manager in implementing appropriate sales and marketing plans of the account. These plans will include event organisation, trade training and trade and consumer shows to ensure maximum destination awareness and exposure for our clients.

You will have the desire or impulse to travel, wander and explore this beautiful world and be ready to bring your passion to an award‐winning integrated agency.

What you’ll be up to?

  • Provide support to multiple account teams and efficiently service each of these accounts simultaneously.
  • Play an active role in supporting the account team with marketing and trade related assignments – these will include travel agent and tour operator engagement, client pitching to new travel trade agencies, special events and training event management, writing/editing, research, planning and account administration procedures.
  • Actively distribute client news through newsletter production, research, tracking and reporting.
  • Monitor traditional and social media outlets for coverage of client news and competitor developments, flag for appropriate team members.
  • Exhibit excellent written communication skills with great attention to detail.
  • Client events – research venues, manage invitations and support in the delivery of events on behalf of the client.
  • Write, proof and edit client‐related documents for trade updates, and produce meeting reports.
  • Support the team through social networking events, campaigns and actively participate in activities as led by the client marketing plans.
  • Participate in new business pitches.
  • Support and report to the account manager on all aspects of deliverables.

Day to day?

There is no typical day... generally, working hours are 9.00-5.00pm, Monday to Friday but sometimes there are times you will be out until late or up at the crack of dawn organising photo shoots or attending events – that is the nature of PR and Marketing. We offer a hybrid working structure that offers a mix of WFH and WFO and our gorgeous new office next to Old Street Station is designed for hybrid brainstorms, collaborative working, meetings and get‐togethers as a team.
