Salary £20.21p / h basic

Working Schedule :
Monday - Friday (37.5 hours a week)
Major Job Functions
- Install, maintain, modify and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment / lighting systems.
- Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches and switchgear.
- Utilise blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer’s installation manuals to complete assigned projects.
- Survey electrical systems, circuits and plans.
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Termination of power / control / monitoring wiring.

Knowledge
Have deep understanding / extensive knowledge and considerable experience of electrics
Accountability
For industrial / commercial works (not domestic). Work to BS 7671 (18th Edition) wiring regulations. Work in compliance with national electric code / regulations. Demonstrate familiarity with NICEIC requirements.
Education and Experience
- CSCS Electricians grade / JIB card
- NVQ level 3
- Test & inspection 2394 / 2395 (old 2391)
- Full UK drivers licence
- Fire alarm installation experience
- Containment installation (ladder / tray / basket / galvanised conduit) experience
Desirable
- Confined space trained / qualified
- PASMA trained / qualified
- MEWPs / IPAF trained / qualified
- First aid trained / qualified
- CompEx trained / qualified
- SMSTS or SSSTS qualified
