We are looking for a highly organised and detail focused Import & Export Assistant to support our international trade operations across Great Britain, Northern Ireland and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:
- Managing import clearance instructions for all transport modes across GB, ROI and NI, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Overseeing daily parts shipments to ROI & NI, working closely with supply chain teams and completing TSS declarations.
- Supporting readiness for upcoming Windsor Framework changes.
- Checking all import/export documentation and validating codes and costs with customs brokers.
- Downloading and processing weekly deferment statements and preparing monthly duty summaries.
- Monitoring the import/export inbox and handling daily operational queries.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Hands‑on experience, in a global/international company, with CDS import/export declarations, including data elements and codes.
- Level 3 Certificate in Customs Compliance (UK) required Understanding of ROI’s AIS & AES systems.
- Knowledge of tariff classification, valuation, FTAs, T1 Transit & tariff preference.
- Strong grasp of international trade compliance, logistics, and end‑to‑end supply chain operations.
- Familiarity with EAR/ITAR and AEOC criteria is advantageous.
- Advanced Excel and strong Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Experience with Ricardo Duty Management System and SAP/DBS (desirable).
