Finning is the world's largest Caterpillar dealer and we pride ourselves in delivering exceptional customer experiences. We are looking for a proactive and knowledgeable HR Business Partner to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leadership teams to develop and deliver People Plans aligned to business strategy.
- Provide expert HR advice across employee relations, performance management, reward, talent management, engagement, selection, and learning & development.
- Coach and support managers on complex people issues, including performance and employee relations.
- Use people data and insight to diagnose issues and recommend effective solutions.
- Support talent pipelines, succession planning and internal mobility as a 'talent broker'.
- Promote a consistent employee experience and inclusive culture, supporting organisational change.
- Work collaboratively with HR Centres of Excellence to deliver a seamless and proactive HR service.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- CIPD qualified (Level 5 or above).
- Relevant, broad HR experience, ideally in a Business Partnering or generalist role.
- Strong employment law and employee relations expertise.
- Commercially minded with the ability to influence and build trusted stakeholder relationships.
- Confident working in a fast‑paced environment, managing multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data and trends.
- Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills.
- Experience in a unionised environment and knowledge of construction or engineering sectors is desirable.
- Experience using HR systems, ideally Workday.
