Job Description:
Salary and Benefits
- Salary £20.21 per hour (basic)

Working Schedule
Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Major Job Functions
- Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical distribution systems and related equipment/lighting systems
- Inspect and test electrical components, including transformers, transfer switches, and switchgear
- Use blueprints, wiring diagrams, and installation manuals to complete projects
- Survey electrical systems, circuits, and plans
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand and power tools, including termination of power/control/monitoring wiring

Knowledge
Deep understanding and extensive experience in electrical work
Accountability
Work on industrial and commercial projects (not domestic), adhering to BS 7671 (18th Edition) wiring regulations, national electrical codes, and NICEIC requirements
Education and Experience
- CSCS Electrician grade/JIB card
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
- Test & inspection certification (2394/2395 or 2391)
- Full UK driver’s license
- Experience in fire alarm installation
- Containment installation experience (ladder, tray, basket, galvanised conduit)
Desirable qualifications include confined space, PASMA, MEWPs/IPAF, first aid, CompEx, and SSSTS or SMSTS certifications.
