We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to lead the charge in expanding our New Equipment and Aftermarket Sales across the North of Scotland, the Highlands, and Islands. This is a unique opportunity to join a market leader and make a measurable impact in a dynamic and rewarding territory. Job Description:

As a Business Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of our growth strategy. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving new business acquisition and increasing market share for new and used equipment.

  • Growing aftermarket sales and identifying opportunities for repower and rebuild solutions.

  • Increasing Customer Value Agreements (CVA) penetration and commodity sales per customer.

  • Building and nurturing long-term partnerships with both new and existing customers.

  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.

  • Maximising Over the Counter (OTC) spend at our Inverness and Aberdeen branches.

  • Maintaining accurate records of leads, opportunities, and lost sales in the CRM system.

  • Ensuring full coverage of the designated area, including travel and occasional overnight stays.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

We’re looking for someone who brings a mix of commercial acumen, customer focus, and a proactive mindset:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally in a technical or industrial sector.

  • Strong self-motivation and the ability to work independently.

  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.

  • High level of numerical reasoning and attention to detail.

  • Proficient in CRM systems and general IT tools.

  • Strong time management and the ability to prioritise effectively.

  • Willingness to travel extensively across the region and stay away from home when required.

  • A continuous improvement mindset and a passion for learning.
