About the Company

Finnebrogue is a leading UK‑based food producer within Sofina Foods Group, operating four facilities in Downpatrick, Northern Ireland. We supply major supermarkets with bacon, sausages, burgers, vegetarian products, and our nitrite‑free Naked range.

The Role

In this role you will oversee a team of hygiene operatives, ensuring efficient completion of daily cleaning tasks and maintaining high hygiene standards throughout the facility. You will motivate, coach and support your team across projects and responsibilities, facilitate training of new recruits, manage performance, and conduct hygiene checks. You must be able to read and write in English.

Hours of Work

Day shift: 5 out of 7 days, starting at 6am. Mid‑shift support for night‑shift may be required with prior notice.

  • Previous experience in a similar industry and team lead preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English for checks and paperwork.
  • Full training in factory hygiene, chemical storage and food safety provided onsite.
