We are looking for a Manager of Veterinary Histopathology to lead our talented team of experienced Histopathologists. In this role, your primary focus is to maintain the gold standard of diagnostic excellence our clients expect while championing a healthy work‑life balance and team collaboration. Our team operates with a hybrid, flexible approach, blending on‑site and remote work. We aren’t just looking for a technical expert; we need a people‑first leader who ensures every team member, whether at a desk in the lab or a microscope at home, feels supported, heard, and equipped to succeed.

Role Details

  • Location: Hybrid working – based on site at Finn Pathologists (minimum 2 days per week) and remotely from home, with occasional travel to other sites.
  • Contract: Permanent.
  • Salary: Competitive (up to ÂŁ100k).
  • Hours: 40 per week.
  • Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:30.

  • Essential: Extensive & demonstrable experience in people leadership, showcasing a successful history of overseeing & developing professional teams.
  • Desirable: Knowledge and experience in Veterinary Histopathology or diagnostic laboratory settings. Experience in digital pathology, in‑house immunohistochemistry, and AI.
  • Mindset: A proactive attitude towards problem‑solving, whether it’s ensuring smooth IT systems or exploring new opportunities for the department.
