If you are an experienced, Level 6 qualified Paraplanner looking for technically challenging work, this role offers the opportunity to get closely involved in complex financial planning rather than simply producing reports.
You will support a Chartered Financial Adviser, work with high-net-worth client cases and contribute to the firm's Investment Committee.

You will be joining a well-established and growing independent financial advice firm with a strong focus on high-quality financial planning.
The business has an established paraplanning function and provides an environment where advisers, paraplanners and administrators work closely together.

The Role
Working within the paraplanning team, you will provide detailed technical support across a broad range of financial planning cases, including pensions, investments, retirement planning, taxation, trusts and inheritance tax planning.
Your responsibilities will include
- Analysing fact finds, existing client records and adviser meeting notes.
- Undertaking cashflow modelling and detailed pension and investment research.
- Reviewing existing client portfolios and researching suitable products, providers and planning strategies.
- Preparing suitability reports covering investments, pensions, drawdown, transfers, protection, trusts and inheritance tax planning.
- Supporting advisers with preparation for client meetings and reviews, with the opportunity to attend meetings where appropriate.
- Liaising with providers and working closely with advisers, administrators and compliance.
- Keeping your technical knowledge of legislation, regulation and industry developments up to date.
- Contributing to the firm's Investment Committee and wider business initiatives.
This is a full-time, office-based position on the outskirts of Woking.

Level 6 Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning and have at least four years' paraplanning experience gained within an IFA or wealth management business. Chartered status is preferable.

- Experience with relevant industry software, such as Intelliflo, wrap platforms, FE Analytics and cashflow modelling tools.
