Finlay Jude Associates are recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation within the utilities sector for Trainee Smart Meter Technicians. No prior experience is necessary – full training, equipment, and a company vehicle will be provided. You’ll be working across the local water network in the Salisbury, Wiltshire area, installing and exchanging smart water meters and uploading data via a company-issued tablet.
Smart Meter Technician’s Responsibilities
- Install and exchange smart water meters at customer properties
- Upload data using provided tablet and software
- Work independently across the local area
- Represent the company in a professional manner
- Adhere to health and safety procedures and company standards
Smart Meter Technician Qualities
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- A reasonably clean UK driving licence
- Ability to work Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
- Must be located within commutable distance to either Cornwall or Salisbury (accommodation not provided)
