FJA is recruiting on behalf of a leading specialist engineering provider for an experienced Site Supervisor to join their installation team.

Location: UK wide (with travel across the UK, Ireland & Europe) – on-site. Ideal location is Rossendale area and surrounding but must be happy to travel UK wide.

Site Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate mechanical installation activities on client sites
  • Interpret and work from installation drawings to ensure accurate installation
  • Set out, position, and level pipework systems and fabricated components onto existing structures
  • Supervise site teams to ensure installation milestones are achieved on programme
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, site rules, and statutory requirements
  • Liaise with clients, project engineers, production teams, and installation coordinators to manage delivery, offloading, and installation schedules
  • Attend site and client meetings as required
  • Monitor installation quality, ensuring all work is completed within required tolerances
  • Produce progress reports for project engineers
  • Carry out inspections, snagging, and handover to client representatives
  • Complete and maintain accurate ITPs, test certificates, and mechanical inspection records
  • Ensure all equipment and hired plant is maintained and certified in line with company and site procedures
  • Deliver toolbox talks and promote a strong health and safety culture
  • Ensure full compliance with RAMS, lift plans, and safe systems of work
  • Work across varied environments including wastewater and industrial sites
  • Maintain high installation standards at all times
  • Report any safety concerns or non-compliance issues

Site Supervisor Requirements:

  • Time-served City & Guilds qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
  • SSSTS certification (essential)
  • CSCS Gold Card
  • Installation-related skill cards (multi-discipline experience preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in mechanical pipe fitting or similar systems
  • Proven supervisory experience within mechanical installation or pipefitting environments
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical installation drawings
  • Experience working in industrial, water, or wastewater environments
  • Ability to lead teams and deliver work safely and efficiently to programme deadlines
