FJA are working with a national leader in the Water industry, who are looking to recruit an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to support their water projects across the Northwest. Reporting directly to the Senior SHEQ Advisor, you will provide practical health and safety advice, assurance and coaching to project and operational teams, helping them manage risk, meet legal and company requirements, and continually improve performance.

Responsibilities in the role of Health and Safety Advisor:
- Understand and apply our approach to managing health and safety risk and delivering best-in-class performance.
- Provide practical advice and support to managers, supervisors, project teams and the workforce on health and safety legislation, company procedures and good practice.
- Monitor corrective actions through to timely close-out and verify that the actions taken are effective and deliver sustained improvement.
- Plan and undertake site inspections, audits and health and safety assurance visits, clearly reporting findings and agreeing proportionate actions with project teams.
- Lead or support accident, incident and near-miss investigations using appropriate root-cause analysis, communicate lessons learned and confirm the effectiveness.
