Overview

FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in the utilities industry for an experienced Water Leakage Analyst to strengthen their team.

Responsibilities

  • The Water Leakage Analyst will be part of the team delivering the Leak Navigator service, providing back-office data analysis and reporting findings to customers.
  • Analyse data from correlating noise loggers using Leak Insight software to identify Points of Interest (potential leaks) for customer investigation and repair.
  • Review customer-reported on-site investigation outcomes (leak/no-leak results).
  • Prepare and present data for visualization in Power BI dashboards.
  • Participate in regular customer meetings to discuss Points of Interest and resolve queries.
  • Provide logistical and organisational back-office support for colleagues deploying loggers or investigating Points of Interest in the field.
  • Contribute to the identification, design, and implementation of improvements to Leak Navigator work processes.
  • Report any security incidents, concerns, or potential vulnerabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO27001, ISO9001, and ISO14001 controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Undertake training on company software and Power BI where required.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience with transferable skills relevant to the role.
  • Understanding or experience of water leakage detection techniques (desirable but not essential).
  • Proficient in data manipulation using Microsoft Excel or equivalent tools.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office and other common PC applications.
  • Highly organised, methodical, and able to follow defined processes while maintaining accurate records.
  • Strong analytical ability to evaluate numerical, graphical, and geographical data using logic, initiative, and curiosity.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience liaising with customers via email and online meetings.
  • Collaborative team player, able to perform effectively under pressure and within tight deadlines.
  • Quick to learn, adaptable, and able to contribute flexibly to a fast-growing environment.
  • Educated to degree level or with equivalent professional training/experience.
  • Strong numeracy skills with attention to detail.
