About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Skilled Leakage Team Leader to join their growing operations in Dundee. This is a key field-based leadership role focused on reducing water loss, improving network performance, and managing high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and motivate field-based leakage detection teams
  • Plan and coordinate daily workloads to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Identify, locate, and assess leaks using industry-standard detection equipment (e.g. acoustic loggers, correlators)
  • Drive reduction in Non-Revenue Water (NRW) and meet performance targets
  • Ensure all work is delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with company procedures
  • Monitor team performance and provide coaching, training, and support where required
  • Liaise with repair teams and operational stakeholders to ensure timely leak resolution
  • Maintain accurate records using mobile systems, GIS, and reporting tools
  • Conduct site audits and ensure quality standards are consistently met

Requirements

  • Proven experience in leakage detection within the water/utilities sector
  • Previous experience in a team leader or supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of leak detection techniques and equipment
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop field teams
  • Good understanding of health & safety practices
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
