FJA are partnering with a national training provider in the utility sector, who are looking to recruit a candidate who wants to take their next steps in the Wastewater industry career to become a qualified Wastewater Treatment Trainer.
The ideal candidate is someone who has a Wastewater Treatment background with occupational experience in Water Operations.
The role is based in Peterborough with nationwide travel.

Wastewater Treatment Trainer role:
- The ideal candidate will have a background in the water industry with occupational experience in either water or wastewater treatment operations.
- They will be an effective communicator with experience in training and assessing qualifications, delivering to a diverse range of learners including apprentices.
- The role requires professionalism, customer focus, and the ability to maintain and develop strong working relationships.
- This is a home-based role with regular travel required.
Wastewater Treatment Trainer responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality training programmes to customers and learners.
- Build training packages based on clear objectives and outcomes.
- Monitor, review, and update training and assessment materials.
- Assess learners in-centre and in the workplace.
- Carry out learner observations and judge evidence against learning outcomes.
- Track and evaluate learner progress.
- Contribute to the standardisation of qualifications as part of the assessment team.
- Liaise with Internal Quality Assurers (IQAs).
- Develop and maintain customer relationships.
- Strive to maintain an individual utilisation rate of 80%.
Wastewater Treatment Trainer requirements:
- Relevant water industry qualifications.
- GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Knowledge and application of health & safety requirements.
