The predicted salary is between 60000 - 75000 £ per year.

This is a key role within a leading infrastructure provider delivering major Water and Wastewater Capital Projects across the UK. You will lead complex programmes that protect future water supply, improve environmental performance and support long-term resilience.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead delivery of complex or concurrent water/wastewater capital projects
  • Manage multidisciplinary teams across engineering, construction, planning, SHEQ and commercial
  • Apply strong governance, programme controls, cost management and risk mitigation
  • Act as senior escalation point for technical and contractual issues
  • Oversee integrated planning, resource alignment and critical path progress
  • Full accountability for forecasting, cost control and commercial reporting
  • Manage supply chain performance, variations, early warnings and value engineering
  • Champion HSE leadership and safe working practices
  • Build capability through coaching and structured team development
  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and clear communication

What you MUST bring:

  • Proven experience delivering water or wastewater projects (capital delivery, networks, treatment, infrastructure)
  • Strong leadership of cross-functional teams
  • Contract/commercial management experience (NEC/JCT)
  • Solid financial and programme management capability
  • Effective risk identification and mitigation
  • Excellent stakeholder and client management
  • Ability to develop and guide project delivery teams
  • Strong understanding of HSE requirements
  • Proficiency with Primavera or MS Project
  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience
  • CSCS, SMSTS, IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH General Certificate
