Would you like to join a company that offers full training and support to kick start a career in the Water Industry? Do you have a full clean Driving Licence? We are recruiting for a number of Trainee Field Technicians local to you. You will be required to assist in leak detection activities. This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday with flexible working hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Using supplied technology, record acoustic sound files across a water distribution network using digital equipment.
  • Working independently within urban/suburban environments.
  • Adhering to performance indicators set out by the client.
  • Liaising with supervisors.
  • Work to achieve targets.
  • Manual duties that may involve lifting, stretching and bending; driving long hours is beneficial.

Qualifications:

  • Used to working outdoors and interacting with members of the public.
  • Self-motivated individual with an eye for detail and a focus on customer service and teamwork.
  • A full clean UK driving licence.
  • Ability to prioritise a variety of tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Water Hygiene, Street works and Manual handling accreditation – full training will be provided.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • A full UK manual driving licence (vehicle and fuel card will be provided for work purposes).
