Our client is a Multi-National Manufacturer of Fire Protection Solutions and is looking to recruit an ambitious Specification Sales Manager to promote a range of products and solutions to Architects, Specifiers, Developers, Main Contractors and sub-contractors across the UK. Working alongside the commercial team, the Specification Sales Manager role will primarily focus on generating and safeguarding the specification of our product and solutions through architects, specifiers and developers, tracking of projects and developing and maintaining strong working relationships with clients at all levels.
As Specification Sales Manager, you will help ensure that we deliver on our market strategy, achieving the best commercial performance of our brands within the guidelines laid down by the management team. You will also:
- Produce, submit and track project specific technical specifications and associated details.
- Maintain relationships through regular contact with key existing and prospective customers.
- Provide technical support to all interested parties involved with targeted projects and developments.
- Help formulate and deliver regular CPD presentations.
- Update CRM daily with project tracking information, customer call details and demonstrate effective diary management aligned with the rating and ranking report for the area.
Ideal applicant:
- Must have proven technical specification sales experience within the construction industry (experience in specification of passive fire protection system will be a significant advantage).
- Must have experience targeting passive fire protection contractors, dry lining contractors, facade / curtain wall contractors, specialist building envelope contractor, architects, main contractors or sub-contractors.
- Strong technical / engineering background, with the ability to understand geometric shapes and designs and an ability to offer product and project solutions.
- IT literate, CAD skills preferred.
- Ideally have experience in delivering CPDs.
