- Quantity Surveyor Role
- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our growing Commercial team.
In this role, you will play a key part in the successful commercial management of projects, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
- Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities
- Cost Control: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture, analyse, and control project costs
- Client Collaboration: Collaborate with clients to ensure business requirements are met
- Contract Management: Manage the main contract, including issuing notices and correspondence
- Subcontract Administration: Prepare and issue subcontract documentation
- Subcontractor Management: Assist in managing and evaluating subcontractor performance
- Payment Management: Oversee the preparation and approval of applications for payment
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Prepare project budgets, forecasts, and cost-value reports
- Mentorship: Guide and develop junior commercial team members
- Continuous Learning: Actively seek out and engage in professional development opportunities

Essential
Quantity Surveyor requirements
- Degree or equivalent
- Working towards or have chartered membership of a recognised institution
- Experience in utilities/civil engineering/MEICA sectors
- NEC3/4 Experience
Desirable
- Experience of managing and developing an individual or small tea
- Knowledge of CEMAR
