FJA is working with a national leader in the Water industry, who is looking to recruit Site Engineers. Our client aims to strengthen their Construction team with Site Engineers, based on two projects, one near Kidderminster and one near Evesham.
This role is open to both permanent and contract positions.

You will report directly to the Site Manager. Your role will involve setting out and quality control services to ensure that the contract works are constructed to the specification in a safe manner, while maintaining appropriate site records.
Key responsibilities of a Site Engineer include:
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with CDM Regulations and company safe working practices.
- Assist in the preparation of construction programmes, Method Statements, Action Plans, and Risk Assessments.
- Setting out the works.
- Checking site work to ensure compliance with specifications and drawings.
- Agreeing on site measurements and records with the client’s staff.
- Assist in maintaining drawing files, drawing register, and site filing system.
- Taking off quantities from drawings for measurement purposes and assisting in requisition preparation.
- Assist in preparing construction completion documentation.
- Ensure works are constructed to a good quality in line with specifications and good working practices.
- Establish good, honest, and open communication lines.
- Lead by example in safety behaviours.
Essential Requirements:
- BTEC National or HNC in Civil Engineering/Construction (minimum)
- Levelling & Surveying experience (using total stations & automatic levels)
Desirable:
- First Aid at Work qualification
- SSSTS
- CSCS Supervision card
- EUSR SHEA Water
