FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in the utilities industry for an experienced Regional Discipline Lead - EICA Estimating & Delivery.

Location: Derby

Regional Discipline Lead - EICA Estimating & Delivery responsibilities:

  • Lead the EICA contract engineering function for project delivery across the regional framework portfolio, ensuring design intent and project requirements are met.
  • Coordinate subcontractor designs and deliverables, including package equipment suppliers.
  • Promote the use of standard designs and design practices within the construction team and among external stakeholders.
  • Review and coordinate feedback on subcontractor designs and deliverables, including package equipment suppliers.
  • Establish and maintain the contract filing systems specifically for EICA Subcontracts.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers to the region and site management on design and procurement issues.
  • Work closely with design departments to ensure timely progressing of quality solutions.
  • Evaluate innovative solutions and processes.
  • Lead the EICA estimating function across the regional framework portfolio, including managing the EICA estimating team.
  • Interface with the framework design, engineering, and delivery teams to provide estimating support for tenders.

Regional Discipline Lead - EICA Estimating & Delivery requirements:

  • Proficient in BIM and digital delivery.
  • Experience in technical design within a design-build environment and the water treatment industry, including leading and managing project delivery (contracts engineering).
  • Degree in a discipline-related subject, or substantial experience.
  • Working knowledge of various conditions of contract especially NEC.
  • Experience of supply chain expedition, project delivery in a design-build environment, leading and managing tenders, working as an Electrical Estimator in the water sector and pricing medium to large value projects.
  • CDM & Health & Safety knowledge.
