Join a Leading Water Utilities Company! We are recruiting for Leakage Technicians to work on leak detection projects within the water industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career in utilities and water network operations. This role will be covering Reading.
Responsibilities
- Detect and locate leaks using specialist equipment (Correlator, Pipe Tracer, Ground Microphone, Listening Stick).
- Assist repair teams by providing accurate leak detection data.
- Assist in adequate and accurate completion of all paperwork (including time sheets, survey forms, leak details and other duties as required).
- Possess basic computer skills as you will be uploading data onto a laptop.
- It is essential that you hold a full and valid driving licence as you are required to drive for the role.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Proven experience in leakage detection within the water industry is essential
- EUSR Water Hygiene qualification
- Unit 2 Street Works qualification
- Experience in Step Testing, Trunk Mains, Validation, and Seepage (desirable but not essential)
