FJA is working in partnership with a prominent utilities service provider to recruit an experienced Planner for a key role based in the Birstall area. This position plays a vital part in supporting both the Design and Operations teams and comes at a pivotal time as the company continues to expand. Benefits 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday Competitive pay Supportive company culture Planner role: We are seeking a detail-oriented individual proficient in Microsoft Project to build and maintain four programmes of work. The role involves ensuring programmes remain up to date, identifying and reporting any programme slippage, and liaising with Design, Operations, and Project Managers. Planner responsibilities: Build, maintain, and update four programmes of work in Microsoft Project. Ensure all programmes remain current and accurate. Identify and report programme slip and highlight risks. Attend Design and Project Management meetings to understand programme requirements. Liaise with Design, Operations, and Project Managers to ensure effective communication and programme alignment. Support reporting and documentation related to project scheduling. Planner requirements: Proficiency in Microsoft Project. Strong organisational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. Previous experience in a project/programme coordination role. Knowledge of construction, design, or operations processes. Ability to identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.
