FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading contractor in the UK water sector for an experienced Senior Planner to join their team supporting major projects within the Anglian Water region.

Senior Planner role

  • Join a Planning Team supporting the successful delivery of major projects within the Anglian Water framework.
  • Lead and develop planning resources, driving a culture of planning excellence across project teams.
  • Ensure project programmes remain on track by identifying risks, implementing mitigation measures and supporting successful project delivery.
  • Provide clear and accurate project updates to key stakeholders through effective reporting and performance data.
  • Work collaboratively with operational and delivery teams to improve programme performance and support project success.
  • Play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with client expectations.

Senior Planner responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and manage detailed project plans and programmes.

  • Experience leading, mentoring or developing planning teams.
  • Excellent programme management and project controls expertise.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to present complex programme information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • A proactive approach with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Previous experience within the water sector is highly desirable.
