We are seeking a Technical Manager to lead product and process development within rubber compounding. This role combines hands-on lab management with customer-facing technical support, ensuring all testing and documentation meets ISO 9001 and client-specific standards. You will drive innovation, support sales, and oversee a small technical team to deliver high-quality, compliant solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Manage compounding product and process development activities to meet business and customer objectives.
- Oversee the rubber compounding laboratory testing resources to ensure requirements are met in accordance with ISO 9001 and other customer-specific standards.
- Support sales by producing accurate costings to facilitate customer quotations.
- Ensure all release documentation and related paperwork meet stated requirements.
- Maintain current and accurate customer and internal standards and specifications.
- Oversee servicing and calibration of all laboratory test equipment.
- Identify and develop potential new products to expand the product portfolio.
- Assess feasibility and cost-effectiveness of new product manufacture.
- Test and coordinate trials for new products and processes, staying informed of market developments.
- Provide technical information for data sheets, product specifications, safety data sheets, and other relevant literature.
- Investigate and determine root causes of non-conformances or complaints and implement corrective actions.
- Offer technical advice and support to customers and internal teams on rubber compound capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with quality management systems, as well as health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Develop and implement procedures to improve development efficiency and customer service.
- Assist in the specification and commissioning of capital projects.

- Must have Rubber compounding experience.
