A Noise Logging Technician covering the Reading area – assists in leak detection activities. Full training provided. Working days – 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Deploy and retrieve loggers within DMA for water companies.
- Deploy loggers on client’s furniture, typically on fire hydrants and valves, usually 80–100 loggers per day.
- Retrieve loggers 24 hours later, download recordings, and repeat the cycle.
- Loggers capture noise between 2:00 am and 4:00 am and record decibel levels.
- Perform manual work involving lifting, stretching and bending; driving long hours is required.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Full UK manual driving licence.
- Experience of long hours driving is beneficial.
- Role subject to compulsory drug and alcohol testing and DBS checks.
