Digital Transformation Lead role:
Seeking a visionary Digital Transformation Lead (DTL) to spearhead the strategic adoption and integration of digital technologies within the Asset, Surveying & Inspection (AS&I) division. This pivotal role serves as a catalyst for change, bridging traditional field service operations with innovative digital solutions. Responsible for leading initiatives to modernise core systems, optimise workflows through automation and data analytics, and drive a cultural shift that embraces continuous transformation. Will ensure that the AS&I digital strategy aligns seamlessly with the wider organisational objectives and overall business strategy.
Digital Transformation Lead responsibilities:
- Define and implement a comprehensive digital transformation roadmap aligned with business objectives, focusing on enhancing field operations, service delivery, and client engagement.
- Identify, evaluate, and deploy digital tools and platforms (e.g., mobile workforce solutions, IoT, AI, cloud systems) to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in field services.
- Lead initiatives to automate manual processes, integrate data systems, and streamline workflows, reducing downtime, errors, and operational costs.
- Develop Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer-Aided Design (CAD), and Building Information Modeling (BIM) capabilities to enhance data visualisation, project planning, and execution whilst adding value to product outputs to our clients.
- Drive the development and commercialisation of innovative digital solutions, identifying new revenue streams and enhancing service offerings to meet evolving market demands.
- Drive organisational change by engaging stakeholders at all levels, fostering a digital-first mindset, and ensuring seamless adoption of new technologies and processes.
- Establish KPIs to monitor the success of digital initiatives and ensure continuous improvement through data-driven insights.
- Evaluate and manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers to ensure quality delivery, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with transformation goals.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to proactively identify opportunities for continuous digital innovation.
- Key member of the Asset, Surveying, and Inspection (AS&I) business, supporting strategic priorities by delivering high-quality work for clients.
Digital Transformation Lead requirements:
- Responsible for providing excellent customer service and executing complex operational tasks.
- Required to work flexibly, including weekends, evenings, and overtime when necessary.
- Willingness to travel to various locations as part of the role.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Proven track record of 5+ years leading or contributing to digital transformation initiatives, preferably within a utilities-based organisation.
- Strong understanding of field service environments.
- Hands-on experience implementing enterprise-wide technology platforms, mobile applications, and data analytics tools.
- Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.
