A local leisure centre in Rossendale is seeking a motivated and reliable Leisure Attendant (Qualified Lifeguard) to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and wants to be part of a friendly, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lifeguarding duties to ensure the safety of all pool users at all times
- Monitoring pool areas and responding effectively to emergencies
- Providing excellent customer service and supporting front desk/reception duties
- Assisting members and visitors with enquiries and general centre use
- Maintaining cleanliness, safety, and presentation across the leisure centre
- Supporting the smooth day to day operation of the facility
Working Hours
This role operates on an alternate weekly shift pattern:
- AM Shift: 6:00am approximately 1:30pm
- PM Shift: 1:00pm 9:15pm
- No weekend shifts
Essential Requirements
- Valid Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ or equivalent)
- Strong awareness of health & safety procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- A positive, proactive attitude and high level of reliability
