Responsibilities:
- Carry out mobile repair work on sewer tanker vehicles
- Time management and planning of day-to-day activities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
- Liaise with customers to discuss and resolve issues
- Ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards and in accordance with all relevant safety regulations
The successful Mobile Plant Fitter / HGV Mechanic will have:
- HGV driving licence
- Relevant Level 3 qualification in HGV Maintenance and Repairs (Or equivalent)
- Experience and knowledge carrying out service, maintenance, repairs and diagnostics on trucks
- Experience in the water and wastewater industry is desirable
- Good customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
Training:
Full training will be provided on all aspects of the role, including mechanical and electrical repairs.
