Job Opportunity: HGV Drainage Technician
FJA is partnering with a leading drainage company to recruit an experienced HGV Drainage Technician for their team in West Lothian. The ideal candidate will have prior experience operating HGV Drainage Equipment.
As an HGV Drainage Technician, you will visit various customer sites, including Industrial, Rail, Road, Utility, Commercial, and Residential sectors.
You will operate high-spec equipment such as Recycler, Jetvac, or Cityflex units across the UK, performing tasks like Cleaning, Desilting, Root Cutting, and CCTV inspections when necessary.
Typically working with a CCTV team, you will take guidance from the CCTV Drainage Engineer on-site but also be capable of working independently.
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating HGV, preferably with jetting equipment
- Full clean HGV Driving Licence
- Reverse Assist and Water Hygiene certification
- NRSWA Streetworks qualification
- Confined Space Level 2 or equivalent
- High-pressure water jetting skills
- Manual Handling & First Aid at Work
- CSCS & Fit to Work certification
- Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
- Personal Track Safety (PTS)
