FJA is recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in the utilities industry for a Customer Side Field Technician to cover Basingstoke, South East England.

Responsibilities

  • Attend appointments and conduct on-site inspections of residential and commercial properties to assess water leakage and wastage issues.
  • Advise customers on the nature of leaks, potential causes, and recommended repair solutions.
  • Analyse water usage data to identify potential leaks and high water consumption patterns.
  • Maintain accurate records of all leak detection activities, including customer information, leak locations, and repair recommendations.
  • Verify meter readings.

Requirements

  • Full UK driving license required.
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Knowledge of plumbing systems would be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem–solving and analytical skills.
