FJA is recruiting for a Site Engineer with a national leader in the water industry. The role involves supporting the construction team to deliver high‑quality projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all works comply with C.D.M. regulations and the company’s safe working practices.
- Assist in preparing construction programmes, method statements, action plans and risk assessments.
- Set out works and check site work against specifications and drawings.
- Agree site measurements and records with client staff.
- Maintain drawing files, registers and the site filing system.
- Takes off quantities from drawings for measurement and requisition preparation.
- Help prepare construction completion documentation.
- Ensure works are constructed to a good quality in line with specifications and best practice.
- Establish good, honest and open lines of communication.
- Lead by example in safety behaviours.
Essential Requirements
- BTEC National or HNC in Civil Engineering/Construction (minimum).
- Experience in surveying (Leica/Trimble).
Desirable
- CSCS card.
- EUSR / SHEA Water.
