About the Role Finlay Jude Associates are recruiting on behalf of a leading utilities contractor for an experienced Skilled Leakage Team Leader to join their growing operation in Dundee.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing field-based teams, driving performance, and supporting the reduction of water loss across the network.
The successful candidate will lead leakage detection activities, ensure safe and efficient operations, and work closely with operational stakeholders to deliver excellent service levels.
While previous water leakage experience is highly desirable, we welcome applications from candidates with relevant experience in gas, drainage, wastewater, telecoms, metering, highways, infrastructure maintenance, or other utility network environments .
Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate, and develop field-based operational teams.
Plan and coordinate daily workloads to maximise productivity and service delivery.
Carry out and oversee leak detection activities using industry-standard equipment.
Drive performance against NRW (Non-Revenue Water) and operational targets.
Ensure all activities are completed safely and in line with company procedures.
Monitor team performance and provide coaching, mentoring, and support.
Liaise with repair teams and operational stakeholders to ensure timely issue resolution.
Complete site audits and quality checks to ensure compliance and service standards are maintained.
Maintain accurate records using mobile data collection systems, GIS, and reporting tools.
