Finlay Jude Associates are recruiting on behalf of a leading company who specialise in providing solutions across the water, and wastewater industry. Due to growth this successful company are now looking for an experienced Engineering Technician to join the team.
Location: Preston area
Engineering Technician responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Desing Lead/Manager
- Maintaining a focus on minimising the risks in all functions of Health and Safety
- Liasing with clients
- Compliance of CDM, Health and Safety and Environmental issues
- The Engineering Technician is to complete tasks to current requirements of corporate systems, documentation and controls that comply with legislation, policy and procedure of the company and industry standard
- Making sure tasks are completed in the specific timeframe
- Ensure that at any outperformance opportunities are actively carried out within the stages of Investigation, Design, Detail Design, Delivery and Completion
- Providing Support to the designer
- Engineering Technician may hold specific responsibilities in computer aided design (CAD)
Engineering Technician requirements:
- Experience using MS Office Excel
- Good knowledge using Work, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Experience with AutoCAD 2D/GIS Software
- Knowledge of Water Hydraulic Systems
