We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Water Sampling Operative to join their expanding two‑person sampling team. You will be responsible for leading wastewater sampling activities across rivers, commercial premises, wastewater treatment works and wider wastewater networks within the client’s catchment. This is a full‑time role with flexibility required around working hours.

Job Requirements
- Leading a two‑person team to collect wastewater samples from multiple locations
- Transporting samples to the laboratory using refrigerated vehicles
- Working safely around confined spaces, watercourses and highways
- Providing excellent customer service when visiting commercial premises and client sites
- Completing paperwork accurately and maintaining precise records
- Planning daily routes and working to deadlines
- Manual handling of manhole covers and other heavy equipment
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Flexibility for early starts, late finishes and occasional changes to working hours
