Would you like to join a company that offers full training and support to kick start a career in the Water Industry? Do you have a full clean Driving Licence? We are recruiting for a number of Field Technicians who will be based across the Southwest region. You will be required to assist in leak detection activities. This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday with flexible working hours.
Responsibilities
- Using supplied technology, record acoustic sound files across a water distribution network using digital equipment
- Working independently within urban/suburban environments
- Adhere to performance indicators set out by the client
- Liaising with supervisors
- Work to achieve targets
This is a manual job which may involve lifting, stretching and bending; experience of driving long hours is beneficial.
Qualifications and Experience
- Used to working outdoors and interacting with members of the public
- Self-motivated individual with an eye for detail and a focus on customer service and teamwork
- A full clean UK driving licence
- Ability to prioritise a variety of tasks
- Excellent communication skills
- Water Hygiene, Street works and Manual handling accreditation – full training will be provided
The Successful Field Technician Must Possess
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A full UK manual Driving Licence; a vehicle and fuel card will be provided for work purposes
