We’re recruiting experienced Data Logger Operatives to support essential water network operations across the South West. This is a hands-on, outdoor role suited to someone who enjoys independent fieldwork and wants long-term progression in the water industry.
What You Will Do
- Install, maintain, and retrieve pressure logging equipment
- Download/upload data from field devices
- Read and interpret network plans and schematics
- Identify correct fittings for equipment deployment
- Complete job sheets, timesheets, and operational paperwork
- Follow Safe Systems of Work (SSOW)
- Support occasional night/early-start work when required
Essential Requirements
- Previous logging experience (this is a MUST)
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
- Strong communication skills
- Basic IT skills (Word, Excel)
- Health & Safety awareness
- Confident lone working and travelling between sites
Desirable Certifications
- EUSR National Water & Hygiene
- Streetworks
- Confined Space (Medium Risk)
- Valve Operations
Role Conditions
- Lifting/moving heavy items (e.g., chamber covers)
- Working in confined spaces and on highways
- Mandatory drugs & alcohol testing
- DBS check required
