We are recruiting a Wastewater Field Technician to join a growing two‑person field team carrying out sewer depth monitoring and flow surveys across the local wastewater network. You will be responsible for installing, commissioning and maintaining monitoring equipment at sites across the region, ensuring accurate data collection and safe working practices at all times. This is a full‑time role, working Monday to Friday, with flexibility required around working hours including occasional night work and periods away from home depending on project requirements.

Job Requirements:
- Installation, commissioning and maintenance of sewer depth monitors, flow survey sensors and telemetry equipment
- Carrying out site assessments, routine calibrations and functional checks
- Diagnosing faults with sensors, telemetry systems and power supplies, escalating complex issues where required
- Completing digital job sheets and survey documentation accurately and on time
- Working as part of a permanent two‑person field team to meet daily and project targets
- Manual handling of manhole covers and monitoring equipment
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Flexibility for early starts, late finishes, occasional night shifts and working away when required
- Entering confined spaces and working within the live wastewater network (training provided)
Skills and Experience Beneficial:
- Experience or interest in wastewater, utilities, environmental monitoring or field‑based technical roles
- Previous confined space experience or certification (desirable but not essential)
- Basic understanding of telemetry, instrumentation or electrical systems (desirable)
- Strong problem‑solving and fault‑finding skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable, flexible and comfortable working outdoors in varied conditions
- Ability to work effectively as part of a two‑person team
