Pay: £15.00 per hour, dependent on tickets and experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 17:00
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Overtime: Available, with occasional call-outs
The Role
Finlay Jude Recruitment is currently recruiting for experienced Confined Space Operatives on behalf of an established environmental services and emergency response organisation based in Wrexham.
Due to increased client demand, our client is looking to appoint three Confined Space Operatives, with supervisory experience particularly desirable for one of the positions.
This is a hands‑on, site‑based role working across North Wales, Cheshire and the North West, with opportunities for overtime and the potential to secure a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
- Working safely in confined space environments
- Supporting industrial and tank cleaning operations
- Working across a variety of client sites
- Following site‑specific health and safety procedures
- Completing work in accordance with confined space procedures and permit requirements
- Working as part of a wider operational team
- Using appropriate PPE and safety equipment
- Supporting additional industrial services activities as required
- Maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism on client sites
To be considered for the role, you must have:
- City & Guilds Confined Space Entry, Medium or High Risk
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous industrial cleaning or tank cleaning experience
- Previous experience working in confined space environments
- A strong understanding of site health and safety procedures
Desirable Tickets & Experience
Candidates with any of the following would be particularly attractive:
- Breathing Apparatus (BA) training
- Previous supervisory or team‑leading experience
- Experience within environmental, industrial services, tank cleaning, waste or related industries
