FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in the utilities industry for a Water Efficiency Technician.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Home Water Efficiency Checks at customers’ properties on behalf of our client.
- Engage customers with behavioural questions and provide advice on water usage along with recommendations for potential savings.
- Measure water flow rates accurately.
- Inspect for and repair minor leaks.
- Install water-saving devices and products.
- Use handheld digital tools to record water flow measurements and report findings accurately.
- Liaise with internal departments, contractors, and suppliers to elevate issues or arrange further works where required.
- Maintain and manage stock of water-saving equipment and ensure correct usage and documentation.
- Adhere to Health and Safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Level 2 qualification in plumbing.
- Strong communication skills.
- At least one year of customer-facing experience, as all visits involve customer appointments.
- A manual driving licence.
- Able to obtain and pass a clean DBS check.
- National water hygiene card is preferable (training provided for those without).
