FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in the utilities industry for a Project Support Coordinator to join their Project Admin team based in the Hyde area. Reporting to the Project Support Manager, the Project Support Coordinator will provide essential administrative and operational support to the project and commercial teams. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth execution of project activities by maintaining accurate records, loading project requirements on the invoicing system, goods receipting, and supporting key functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately load and maintain project data, ensuring timely updates at each stage of the project schedule.
  • Process Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) for received deliveries.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement and finance procedures.
  • Act as the first point of contact for supplier invoice queries.
  • Liaise with procurement, finance, and suppliers to resolve discrepancies and to ensure timely payments.
  • Coordinate the hire and off-hire of site equipment and services.
  • Support the commercial team with data entry and reporting.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests for information, documentation, and reports.

Required Experience

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, record-keeping, and documentation.
  • Experience using P2P or invoicing systems would be an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across functions, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities, particularly in resolving invoice queries and coordinating project logistics.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, for reporting.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to team goals and project delivery.
