What You’ll Do
As aLeisure Team Leader, you will:
- Supervise and supportleisure team members including lifeguards, activity leaders, receptionists, and cleaners
- Provide visible leadership, driving high standards of service and professionalism
- Oversee daily operationsof the Gym, leisure and spa facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment
- Maintain health and safety standards, including pool safety, facility checks, and record keeping
- Assist with the delivery of our activities programme, supporting engaging and fun sessions for guests
- Mentor, train, and supportteam development and performance
- Handle guest queries and feedback, ensuring positive experiences and issue resolution
- Work closely with the Leisure Manager, supporting all aspects of smooth leisure facility operations
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a proactive, organised leader with:
- Previous experiencein a Gym, leisure, fitness, or hospitality environment
- Strong leadership and communicationskills
- A focus ondelivering great guest experiences
- Knowledge of health and safety regulationswithin leisure operations
- The ability towork flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Essential
- Level 2 Certificate in Gym Instructing or a level 3 Diploma in Personal training
Desirable
- First Aid at work
- Pool Plant Operators Certificate
- AValid RLSS NLPQ UK Qualificationin Pool Lifeguarding
