Location: Finkley Hudson's Field, Salisbury

Hours: 38 or 40 hours over 4 or 5 days

Pay: Up to £14.00 per hour

Role Overview: We are looking for a SENCo to lead and champion inclusive practice across the nursery. The role involves hands-on work with children, coaching practitioners, and supporting families and external professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading SEND provision across the nursery
  • Supporting children with additional needs to thrive
  • Coaching practitioners on inclusive practice
  • Building strong relationships with families
  • Working with external professionals (health visitors, local authority, specialists)
  • Managing support plans, observations and next steps
  • Keeping documentation accurate and compliant

Candidate Profile:

Qualifications:

  • Level 3 (or above) Early Years qualification
  • SENCo qualification (desired or willing to undertake training)
  • Strong understanding of EYFS, SEND and Local Authority processes
