An excellent opportunity has arisen for a clinically credible Clinical Specialist to support the use of specialist orthopaedic surgical devices across hospitals in Devon and Cornwall.

This role would suit an experienced Operating Department Practitioner, Theatre Scrub Nurse with orthopaedic or trauma experience, or an existing Clinical Specialist working in surgical devices, orthopaedics, trauma or a closely related theatre-based role.

Role Overview

The Clinical Specialist will provide clinical, technical and procedural support to surgeons, theatre teams, ODPs and scrub staff before, during and after orthopaedic surgical procedures. You will work across NHS and private hospital accounts, helping ensure the correct equipment, implants and instruments are available and ready for use. The role combines in-theatre case support and product training.
